Australian designer, and Janet Single. On
each side of a divided staircase leading to the
Mezzanine Lounge were a small ticket box and
stalls entrance.
The Mezzanine Lounge was a vast space
where exposed beams thrust upwards beneath
the Dress Circle; décor was in a pronounced
oriental motif.
A large candy bar stood along the eastern wall
as did the toilets. Two split-level staircases led
to the Dress Circle and projection box at the
rear.
