Cinema One, Devonport, the former Star Theatre
screenings were held there. A phone call to
real estate agents L J Hooker in February 2017
revealed the surprising fact that everything is
still there - seats, screen and even a bar. It
seems that the owner is keen to maintain the
historic venue, doesn’t want to sell or rent it
and doesn’t want any publicity about it! So
Tasmania still has one single screen
