        VICTORIA:
        Melbourne  – The  historic Forum  Theatre
        (State Theatre) will undergo a $100 million
        redevelopment  including  a  32-storey  hotel
        after  the  City  of  Melbourne  gave  planning
        approval.  The  plan  was  developed  by  the
        Marriner  family,  which  owns  the  Forum
        Theatre  as  well  as  the  Regent  and  Princess
        Theatres. The hotel will occupy the site of the
        Melbourne Theatre Company’s former home
        at  the  rear  of  the  Forum’s  stagehouse.
        Construction work is due to start early next
        year  and  the  project  is  expected  to  be
        completed by early 2017.     ►
