              RAPALLO CINEMA Sydney. The COLONIAL No:2 opened here in 1910 which in 1913 became the EMPRESS. In 1939
              it was completely rebuilt as the VICTORY. Renamed the RAPALLO in the 1960s, it remained virtually unaltered                       DUNDAS                     KOOWEERUP                            GAWLER
              until demolished in 1984 for the GREATER UNION (Now EVENT) cinemas. All cover photographs by Ross Thorne.
