three years. The render of R. Pion was accepted. By the end of May 1968, due to increased costs and low attendances,
screening had ceased. Mr. Pinn had endeavoured to provide a good service and had .the best possible selection of films but
failed to attract sufficient patronage.

The Honour Roll:
This is erected in the Foyer of the Memorial Hall with the names worked in copper, each Jetter standing out about an
eighth of an inch. The Honour Roll is divided into two sections- The Cenotaph List and General Enlistment List.
It is worth noting the conditions, which the Committee worked to draw up the Honour Roll.
I. All men who enlisted at the Rutherglen recruiting centre and were discharged at Rurherglen, whether perma-
nently residing in d1e Shire or not.
2. All men born and bred in the Rutherglen Shire and lived for the first 14 years of their lives within the Shire.
3. All the repatriated returned men whether of the Btitish Imperial or Australian Imperial Force. who are now
permanently residing within the Shire.
4. Men in camp at the signing of the armistice included.
5. Men in camp and discharged without going overseas for various reasons excluded.
