During the early 60's I also began to dabble in 16mm production and so "The Bijou" projector stable now included
the Bolex standard 8mm (the legendary M8R) a silent 16mm Cinevox and a 35mm slide projector. The "bio-box"
was a plywood wardrobe with a glass port in one end and a fan in the roof for exhaust purposes (a sort of wooden
all-in "blimp" to cut down noise). Deck chairs and one row of theatre seats from the not-long closed East Ringwood
public hall-cinema served my audiences. Sound originated from an old National reel-to-reel recorder.
