promotion for the New Wests.
The News wrote on 1 December 1939:

“Formerly a cyclorama and an ice-skating
rink before it became in 1908 Adelaide’s
first theatre devoted entirely to pictures,
Wests is one of the most historic houses of
entertainment in Adelaide’. June 1950.
