CATHS: A Year In Pictures
Radio and television personalities and CATHS Patrons Peter
Smith and Phillip Brady delighted a Sun audience in August with
their show biz repartee.
Mel Elliott was the star of this celebration in September. Later at
the Sun, Mel was presented with his 'OBE' certificate.
High Country Weekend, October. Myrtleford members Barbara
and ‘Tiff’ Raynor, opened the local theatre, which they had
operated for 27 years. Rod Smith (in stove-pipe hat) set a new
high for hilarity with his after-dinner thank you.
In Bendigo Fred and Leslie Page entertained guests to the
opening of the new Crest cinema in October with a catered
dinner, theatre organ renditions by the ‘Phantom of the Opera’
and the recent film.
A typical CATHS interval scrum at the Sun.
Manager of the Westgarth, Michael Yiannoudes is thanked by
Treasurer Barrie Wraith after showing members over the Images (not in order): James Barrand, Ross King,
refurbished theatres. Cameron Hall holds the certificate of Peter Wolfenden
appreciation.
