ones that did not attract audiences?
Basically he was working for operator’s
wages. It was time to close up. However
this was a valuable experience for such a
young person and shows the enthusiasm
he had for the industry.
Ross continued to teach audio-
visual media in the TAFE sector. His
meeting with two CATHS members
that night at Box Hill, (former president
Trevor Walters was the other) was the
catalyst that brought Ross into our
organization. ★

arcs. A few months later Ross installed
Raycophone J3 projectors from Port

The curved ceiling divider between the main hall and the back of the stalls softens the lines of an otherwise angular space.
Nine projection and viewing ports suggest a few changes of equipment and accessories over the years.
