This is the last ‘mystery theatre’. The subject was a fabric shampoo; the theatre interior
was incidental. The theatre is probably an independent suburban house.
The Adventures of Mark Twain (Warner Bros.) with Fredric March and Alexis Smith was
1944/45 in Australia. The brocade pattern on the sofa and chairs and the scrappy curtain
hiding a window or ventilator might be clues to identification.
Some of the ‘mystery’ theatre shots have been identified. Answers next issue.
