1999 End Of Year Gathering: Many thanks from all who attended to Harvey and Pam for providing their home for our
annual Christmas gathering. Despite the Melbourne weather being a linle chilly those who could rugged-up and had a
thoroughly enjoyable evening with a barbeque and '·picture show··.
Gippsland CATHS-V Group - 'First Meeting: On February 9. 2000. a meeting of Gippsland members of CATHS was
held in Moe at the ''Majestic" theatrette. It was decided to conducr rhree or four meetings a year to provide the Gippsland
members with an opportunity ro get together.
Most members in the regional areas cannot auend the Melbourne gatherings. The short meeting was followed by an
excellent program of old film and video clips, slide advertisemenrs and several versions of the national anthem. Thanks to
Peter Rickells, our host. we all experienced a most entertaining evening
Central Victoria CATHS-V Group- F irst Meeting: On February 10. 2000. a meeting was called by Fred Page to
derermine if there was any interest in forming a Central Victoria CATHS-V group. The attendees were in agreement that
they should proceed ro form a group. A film enrenainment program was produced by Fred in the "Bendigo Cresr· theatreue.
More news on both these developments as and when it happens.
